Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Matrix Design Group, Inc. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management and execution of civil engineering design and permitting projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop project work plans and scopes of work.
    • Provide project oversight and schedule monitoring.
    • Prepare fee proposals and track and manage project budgets and invoicing.
  • Design and Permitting
    • Prepare roadway, grading, drainage, water and sewer plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
    • Produce project deliverables including technical memoranda, design plans and specifications, and technical reports.
    • Administer QA/QC for project deliverables.
  • Client Management
    • Maintain effective communications with clients and project teams.
    • Participate in proposal presentations and project interviews.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise, manage, direct and provide oversight of tasks and responsibilities for engineering staff and/or other technical support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering.
    • Colorado Professional Engineering (PE) licensure or ability to obtain CO PE within one year.
    • Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience with an emphasis in civil design including drainage, utility, roadway / transportation design.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Self-directed practitioner with project management and project delivery skills.
    • Ability to direct staff, bid projects, and develop project execution plans and technical deliverables.
    • Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels.
