Tandym Group is seeking a seasoned Tax Executive to lead our tax practice with a focus on the real estate sector. This pivotal role involves overseeing tax engagements, nurturing client relationships, and driving the growth of our tax services.
Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Tax Executive will:

  • Deliver specialized tax guidance to clients in the real estate market, including developers, investors, and property management companies.
  • Examine and interpret intricate tax laws and regulations that impact the real estate field.
  • Formulate and execute tax strategies aimed at enhancing clients' financial outcomes and fulfilling their business goals.
  • Lead and supervise tax engagements related to real estate, ensuring prompt and precise service delivery.
  • Oversee the preparation and assessment of complex tax returns, guaranteeing adherence to applicable regulations.
  • Manage client relationships, responding to their needs and uncovering opportunities for additional services.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of tax professionals, promoting a collaborative and high-achieving work culture.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve the team's technical knowledge in real estate taxation.
  • Engage in business development initiatives, including identifying new client prospects and expanding current relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with internal protocols and external regulations.
  • Mitigate potential risks associated with tax engagements through effective risk management practices.
Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of experience in Real Estate Tax, with a demonstrated history of successful tax planning and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Tax laws and regulations relevant to the real estate industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building and sustaining client relationships.
  • Proven leadership and management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Experience in business development, with a successful record of client acquisition and retention.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
