Senior Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our Private Client Services (PCS) practice at Andersen Tax. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing multiple engagement teams for a wide range of sophisticated clients, including high net worth individuals, family offices, and owner-operated businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in business development activities, including preparing proposals and presenting in webinars to prospective and current clients.
- Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, and remain current on legislative changes.
- Conduct primary and secondary review of complex tax returns, including federal and state filings.
- Draft technical tax memoranda.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate interns, associates, and senior associates.
- Receive formal PCS and on-the-job training in daily interactions with top tax leaders to learn about legislative changes, wealth transfer techniques, charitable giving strategies, and buy/sell agreement planning.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 5 years of Private Client experience.
- Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
- Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service (e.g., CPA or JD).
- Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficient use of technology.
