The Role
As a Senior Tax Associate II in our Commercial practice, you'll engage in the tax planning and consulting process for a wide range of clients, varying from multi-national corporations to early stage start-ups. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing ASC 740 tax provisions;
- Reviewing and preparing tax returns;
- Collaborating with the engagement team to identify and research complex client issues and recommend solutions;
- Drafting technical tax memoranda;
- Providing regular updates to clients;
- Assisting in project management of compliance and consulting engagements;
- Supervising, training, and mentoring Associates and Interns;
- Receiving formal corporate tax training, on-the-job training, direct feedback from top tax leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer competitive base compensation, a benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in Long Island, the expected salary range for this role is $78,000 to $152,000; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our firm's 401(k) plan upon hire. We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually, and provide twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of relevant tax experience;
- Bachelor's and/or relevant advanced degree (MAcc, MST, JD); Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree (Preferred) Minimum GPA of 3.0;
- Advanced credential or desire to obtain advanced credential allowing for IRS client representation (CPA, JD);
- Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
- Proficient use of technology.
