Position Overview

We are seeking Underwriting Assistants to enhance our US Managing General Agency (MGA) team. The role involves managing renewals, assisting underwriters, and contributing to the organization's growth.

Ideal candidates should possess a background in sports insurance, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an underwriting assistant. Your contributions will be vital in meeting business objectives and ensuring profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve profitability and retention targets.
  • Make independent underwriting assessments.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with brokers and agents.
  • Enhance operational workflows and efficiency.
  • Compile reports for management evaluation.
  • Exemplify company core values in all interactions.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements.

  • Engage in special projects as required.
  • Occasionally travel for team collaboration and client interactions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of underwriting experience.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Considerations

  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
