Sev1Tech is seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Specialist to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (MLB) in managing the Logistics (LOG) Information Technology (IT) portfolio.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for automating and executing verification, validation, and testing of application and systems software. Key duties will include:
- Using Selenium WebDriver (Java) to automate test cases provided by the IV&V team and stakeholders.
- Integrating automated test cases into the DevSecOps pipeline.
- Developing performance tests using automated performance testing tools.
- Conducting test design activities to identify and create automated test cases, test procedures, and test scripts traceable to system requirements.
- Conducting static and dynamic testing at all software testing levels, including integration, functional, system, and acceptance.
- Performing manual testing to support immediate project needs and understanding workflows to create automated tests.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- A current US DoD Secret level clearance.
- Qualification as a DoD Cybersecurity Workforce member and maintenance of a SECRET clearance.
- Minimum four (4) years' experience as a test engineer.
- Knowledge and experience in object-oriented programming.
- Experience with developing and managing automated test suites.
- Demonstrated experience with automated test framework development.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java) and Cucumber.
- Experience with using build tools such as Maven.
- Experience with code source management (Gitlab, SourceTree).
- Experience with integrating automated tests into the DevSecOps pipeline.
- Knowledge of agile software development life cycle models.
- Skilled in utilizing software development management and issue tracking tools (JIRA).
- Skilled in utilizing test management tools to build test suites/sets, capture test data, and analyze results.
