Sev1Tech is seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Specialist to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (MLB) in managing the Logistics (LOG) Information Technology (IT) portfolio.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for automating and executing verification, validation, and testing of application and systems software. Key duties will include:

  • Using Selenium WebDriver (Java) to automate test cases provided by the IV&V team and stakeholders.
  • Integrating automated test cases into the DevSecOps pipeline.
  • Developing performance tests using automated performance testing tools.
  • Conducting test design activities to identify and create automated test cases, test procedures, and test scripts traceable to system requirements.
  • Conducting static and dynamic testing at all software testing levels, including integration, functional, system, and acceptance.
  • Performing manual testing to support immediate project needs and understanding workflows to create automated tests.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • A current US DoD Secret level clearance.
  • Qualification as a DoD Cybersecurity Workforce member and maintenance of a SECRET clearance.
  • Minimum four (4) years' experience as a test engineer.
  • Knowledge and experience in object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with developing and managing automated test suites.
  • Demonstrated experience with automated test framework development.
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java) and Cucumber.
  • Experience with using build tools such as Maven.
  • Experience with code source management (Gitlab, SourceTree).
  • Experience with integrating automated tests into the DevSecOps pipeline.
  • Knowledge of agile software development life cycle models.
  • Skilled in utilizing software development management and issue tracking tools (JIRA).
  • Skilled in utilizing test management tools to build test suites/sets, capture test data, and analyze results.
