Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at Warehouse Workers, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement control systems for plant equipment and controls, including system design and digital/IO.
  • Develop and maintain HMI (Human Machine Interface) graphics and process diagrams.
  • Write, test, and debug control programs for optimal plant operations.
  • Manage relationships and deliverables with external controls vendors.
  • Maintain controls system standards, including a maintenance plan for aging equipment.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between IT and plant operations to maintain network performance and security.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and provide training to local maintenance teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in a food processing environment.
  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, Logix programming, and related automation systems.
  • Experience with HMI development tools (e.g. FactoryTalk View, Aveva InTouch).
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies, control system design, and troubleshooting.
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
