Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Equus Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our properties, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  2. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all facilities are properly maintained.
  3. Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  4. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  5. Monitor and control maintenance budgets to ensure that expenses are within approved limits.
  6. Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of maintenance experience required.
  • Working knowledge of basic plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of basic carpentry and building skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules for HOA property.
  • Management and supervisory skills.
  • Have or obtain, in a designated time, a Certified Pool Operator Certificate.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
  • Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.

Remuneration:

  • Must complete a minimum of 40 hours per week. Eight hours of work per day are recommended. Emergency overtime may be allowed at the discretion of the Association Manager. This is an hourly position.
  • Health insurance or offset cash amount is provided by the HOA.
  • Paid vacation and holidays in accordance with Association Management company policy.
  • Standard reimbursement for vehicle mileage and wear and tear.
