Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and oversee the maintenance and capital improvement needs of our assigned multifamily property. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and leadership, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a daily and preventative maintenance program to ensure the property is maintained in a safe and economical condition.
  • Inspect the property and common areas daily to detect maintenance problems and coordinate repairs.
  • Manage and maintain a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including NSPIRE, MOR, TCAC, and CALFHA.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including city officials, financial institutions, and non-profit partners, to streamline processes and achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in residential property management.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; industry certification or designation preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NSPIRE, MOR, TCAC, and CALFHA regulations.
  • Knowledge of property management software and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
