Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team at OhioHealth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level support for the optimization of clinical informatics in our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise to clinical leadership and operational teams to maximize the effective use of clinical and operational informatics.
  • Participate in clinical informatics activities to support interdisciplinary practice operations, decision-making, education, quality, and research initiatives.
  • Develop and refine tools, workflows, processes, structures, and best practices to enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions to improve clinical and operational informatics.
  • Provide consultative services to customers and application and development teams to identify possible solutions to system problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing, clinical, or health informatics, or other healthcare-related field.
  • Three years of clinical/operational experience in a hospital or major medical center with evidence of clinical information systems use and implementation.
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice nursing or other healthcare-related field as applicable in the state of Ohio.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in clinical, health, or nursing informatics.
  • Experience with Epic, Fuji, and Hyland OnBase.
  • Leadership/management experience.
  • Change management experience.
  • Epic accreditation/certification.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work environment is a fast-paced healthcare setting with a focus on patient care and safety.
