Domestic Violence Advocate Lead

Are you passionate about supporting survivors of domestic violence? We are looking for a dedicated Domestic Violence Advocate Lead to join our team at Jenesse Center. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive response strategies for survivors of domestic violence.
Responsibilities- Develop and update goal-orientated case/action plans
- Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and advocacy services
- Advocate on behalf of survivors and families to other agencies
- Maintain up-to-date client files and provide feedback on program goals
As a Domestic Violence Advocate Lead, you will have the opportunity to establish a strong presence in the community and increase understanding of domestic violence. You will also work closely with other teams to ensure an effective response to survivors in crisis.
Requirements- Must support Jenesse's mission and philosophy and be able to function within a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic crisis center setting
- Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office
- Must have a strong work ethic, be self-directed, and able to coordinate multiple tasks
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Jenesse Center is a smoke-free workplace, so the candidate must be able to work in a smoke-free environment
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug and alcohol screening and background check
- Jenesse is a 24-hour shelter program, so the candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, or overnight if needed
The estimated salary for this position is $18.00-$25.00 per hour.
