About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Domestic Violence Housing Navigator. This full-time, non-exempt position is based in Los Angeles County and offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of women and gender-expansive individuals experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide landlord engagement, retention, and intensive case management services to support our clients in securing permanent housing.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of the complexities of poverty, women's homelessness, and domestic violence. Your expertise in community resources, case management, and housing navigation will enable you to effectively connect clients with available housing options and advocate for their needs. Excellent communication, active listening, and crisis intervention skills are essential in this position, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accurate records and reports. A valid California driver's license, insurance, and vehicle with a good driving record are required, as regular travel throughout Los Angeles County is necessary. Additionally, you must be a CA resident and live no more than 80 miles from DWC. The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
