Job Summary

The Project Engineer I/II will be responsible for the delivery and completion of capital projects on time and within budget. This includes overseeing construction activities, coordinating internal and external resources, and monitoring project schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the oversight of construction activities for assigned capital projects.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources towards the completion of assigned capital projects.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets and suggest corrective actions when needed.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports on project progress to supervisors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering or a closely related field.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the state of assignment or project management certification preferred.
  • Two years of construction management experience on public works or public utility projects.
Working Conditions

The Project Engineer I/II will be required to travel as needed to project sites. Travel can include overnight stays and full-day trips by car or air.
