Position Overview

As the Oncology Patient Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their cancer treatment journey. Your responsibilities will include providing both physical and emotional support as patients navigate services such as radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and palliative care.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 years of clinical experience in Med/Surg Nursing, with a minimum of 3 years in Oncology.
- Valid RN license in California.
- Current BLS certification.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- National Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in administrative or educational nursing roles is highly desirable.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Skills Required:
- In-depth knowledge of oncology nursing principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
