About Our Team

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function is pivotal within our organization, tasked with the creation, execution, and ongoing management of a comprehensive risk management framework. This encompasses all aspects of risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting across various domains, including Strategic, Financial, Human Capital, Technological, Legal and Compliance, Reputational, and Operational Risks, along with Data Security, Vendor Management, and Business Continuity. Essential elements of the ERM program include the Risk Appetite Framework, Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Issues Management, Key Risk Indicators, Risk Reporting, Crisis Management, and Controls Assurance Testing.

Position Responsibilities

As the Senior Vice President of ERM Governance, you will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer and oversee the governance of the enterprise risk management program. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that the ERM framework is resilient, compliant, and aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and management of the ERM program, addressing enterprise-wide issues.
  • Drive continuous enhancement through regular evaluations and adjustments to meet emerging risks and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with senior leadership to integrate risk management into strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and articulate policies and procedures, ensuring comprehensive understanding and implementation throughout the organization.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Pre-Law, or Risk Management, complemented by 5+ years of experience in Finance, Audit, Legal, or Risk Management roles. Alternatively, 9+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree, with a focus on data analysis, processes, controls, and project management.
  • Previous experience in Legal, Risk, or Compliance within a financial institution.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating committee meetings.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across various functions and levels.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capacity to meet stringent deadlines and adapt swiftly to changing priorities.
