The Senior Financial Manager is crucial to the finance department, responsible for directing the company's financial activities and reporting frameworks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure adherence to GAAP standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and policies.
  • Conduct account reviews to confirm accurate recording of revenues, expenses, and liabilities.
  • Lead financial and SSAE audits.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports for executive management.
  • Manage intercompany financial transactions.
  • Supervise Accounts Payable functions.
  • Handle Workers Compensation accounting and manage offshore teams.
  • Collaborate with the Tax Department on corporate tax filings.
  • Assist with vendor coding, receivables, and wire/ACH transactions.
  • Establish financial and operational benchmarks, regularly monitoring programs and reporting standards.
  • Review Fixed Asset and Goodwill reports to ensure accurate depreciation and amortization.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level accounting or finance management role.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Familiarity with GAAP standards is essential.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of PEO accounting is preferred.
