About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RN Coordinator to join our team at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with surgeons to ensure efficient and effective procedures
  • Manage workflow and equipment to optimize patient care
  • Provide education and training to staff on targeted in-services and unit-based education
  • Monitor inventory and supplies to ensure timely restocking
  • Prepare and verify supplies and equipment lists for surgical procedures
  • Act as a resource and mentor to the team, supporting the development of RNs and senior RNs

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
