Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN Coordinator to join our team at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital. As a RN Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Room, working closely with surgeons, staff, and vendors to coordinate procedures, schedules, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with surgeons on procedures, schedules, and specific requests
  • Coordinate workflow and equipment with vendors
  • Assist staff with targeted in-services and unit-based education
  • Monitor inventory, instruments, and equipment
  • Prepare and verify supplies and equipment lists for surgical procedures
  • Act as a board runner (charge nurse) when coverage is needed

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire
  • 1 year - Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
