Job Summary

Community Health Action of Staten Island (CHASI) is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide clinical support to our Alternative to Incarceration (ATI) program, working closely with clients, staff, and community partners to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients, staff, and community partners.
  • Provide strengths-based and trauma-informed counseling services to clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate services to integrate substance use treatment, mental health, and other recovery support services for program participants.
  • Prepare documentation required to submit client progress to court.
  • Attend team and departmental meetings, trainings, and external provider meetings.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work or mental health counseling required.
  • Licensure such as LMSW, LMHC preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience providing mental health and/or substance use counseling or other relevant populations required.
  • At least one year of formal or informal supervisory experience preferred.
  • Cultural competency and interest in health care equity, social justice, and public health.
