Job Title: Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist

Northwell Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in identifying opportunities for improvement in our information systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in process improvement teams to identify potential future uses of information systems and improvements in current use.
  • Serve as a nursing informatics resource to individuals and teams within Patient Care Services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends and advances in Nursing Informatics and new developments in hardware and software technology.
  • Assist in conducting focus studies to measure and assess patient care services' process stability and achievement of patient outcomes and organizational goals.
  • Participate in special projects related to quality issues and assist in recommendations and coordinating implementation of corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • BSN nursing degree required.
  • Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
  • One-three years clinical experience including general knowledge of QM principles, NYPORTS and JCAHO requirements.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $79,880-$136,340/year. Northwell Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
