Medix is seeking a skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team in Staten Island, NY.
This is a unique opportunity to utilize your knowledge and skill set in the clinical research field while continuing to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate all aspects of clinical studies, including recruitment, consent, screening, scheduling, and tracking.
- Collect and enter data into study case report forms and/or electronic data capture systems.
- Submit study-related documents, protocols, and amendments to the IRB in a timely manner.
- Ensure procedural documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with institutional, local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Collect, process, and ship potentially biohazardous specimens.
- Administer structured tests and questionnaires according to research study protocols.
- Provide ongoing study status updates and respond to questions from stakeholders.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred.
- Two to four years of experience or certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
- Psych experience preferred.
Location: Staten Island, NY
Pay: $24-$30/hour (dependent on background and years of experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday, normal business hours, onsite 5 days a week
Duration: ~6 months (1,040 hours) contracted probationary period into direct hire/permanent position
