Human Resources Strategist for Corporate Excellence

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources expert to lead our HR initiatives and drive business growth at Country Archer, an award-winning meat snack company in rapid expansion.
About the RoleThe Vice President of Human Resources will be a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, management, and development, employee engagement, people and succession planning, total compensation and benefits programming, and HR operations.
Main Responsibilities- Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead and improve our recruitment process to create a robust talent pipeline and develop a strong employer brand that attracts top-tier candidates.
- Employee Development and Engagement: Design and implement programs that nurture, develop, and retain our talent, ensuring a positive workplace culture and high employee satisfaction.
- Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer total rewards packages that support the company's strategic direction and meet the practical needs of the business.
- Culture and Engagement: Champion initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement and satisfaction.
- HR Operations: Ensure all HR functions, including recruiting, compensation, payroll, HRIS systems design and administration, benefits, LOAs, accommodations, Worker's Compensation/safety, compliance, performance management, learning, and development, are executed with excellence.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's Degree and SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 15+ years in HR management, with at least 2+ years reporting to Senior Leadership preferred. Experience in CPG food or beverage environment, with manufacturing, highly desirable.
- Relationships and Influence: Proven ability to inspire, engage, build trust, and motivate employees at all levels and act as a business partner. High level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.
- Communication: Superior conflict resolution skills. Strong executive presence and communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- HR Leadership: Proven track record of successful team management and HR strategy implementation. At least 5+ years of leading an HR team.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of California employment laws (experience in multi-state organizations helpful). Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and the ability to optimize HRIS system functionality for the organization.
$160,000 - $200,000 per year. Country Archer offers a generous time off package and holistic healthcare insurance options, including 100% employee-paid medical and ancillary insurance.
