Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement post-secondary advising programs and services to support students in achieving their academic and career goals.
- Collaborate with school leaders, teachers, and staff to integrate post-secondary advising into the school's curriculum and instructional programs.
- Provide coaching and professional development to school-based staff on post-secondary advising strategies and best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and national universities, colleges, and career organizations to provide students with access to post-secondary opportunities.
- Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of post-secondary advising programs and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase student participation and success in post-secondary education and career pathways.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in post-secondary advising, counseling, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of post-secondary education and career pathways.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Knowledge of data analysis and interpretation.
- Experience with professional development and coaching.
