Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team at Insight Global. As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing instruments and systems returned for service and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibrations using primary standards and measurement and test equipment (M&TE) according to prescribed work instructions.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and records.
  • Communicate data and trends on product calibrations to relevant personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate unusual product issues to technical support or other relevant departments.
  • Maintain all standards and M&TE.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair measurement equipment or components returned to our service center by customers.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Science with a focus on Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Understanding of basic metrology concepts or Z-540.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment.
  • 6 months of experience using automated test systems.
