Electronics Specialist

Job Summary

Entegee is seeking an Electronics Specialist to join our team. As an Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for testing, verifying, calibrating, and performing troubleshooting on high power and complex Medical Equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and verify complex systems down to component level
  • Adjust amplifiers to meet customer specifications, including power level, bandwidth, linearity, VSWR, coupling, drift testing, settling time adjustments, noise levels, and overload levels
  • Maintain and calibrate test station and other associated equipment to meet or exceed industry standards
  • Perform component level troubleshooting on all assemblies
  • Provide repair team with necessary data to ensure repair is performed correctly
  • Maintain and provide necessary data to quality acceptance team, including detailed summary of repair performed and any testing/tuning issues implemented
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly workstation
  • Follow quality and safety standards and regulations set forth by the Company

Requirements

  • Must understand analog and digital circuit theory, Ohm's law, component knowledge, power formulas, filters, op-amp theory, and basic semiconductors
  • Knowledge of theory from school or related experience and ability to troubleshoot complex and non-complex circuits to the component level
  • Understanding of how to read a schematic and how each sub-assembly interacts
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Requires knowledge with the functions of digital multi-meter (DMM), oscilloscope, some familiarity with spectrum & network analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, and frequency counters
  • Ability to repair products by using a history record of similar problems
  • Basic computer skills required
  • High Voltage and/or RF experience preferred
  • Technical certificate and/or equivalent, and 3 years of related experience
  • US citizenship required
