Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries through phone, chat, and email, delivering necessary information and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Proactively engage with customers to assess their financial needs, recommend suitable products and services, and generate leads for the sales team.
  • Participate in various sales initiatives and events.
  • Resolve customer service issues efficiently, ensuring one-call resolution or timely follow-up.
  • Collect and analyze information to provide optimal solutions.
  • Deliver advanced troubleshooting support to customers in a non-scripted environment.
  • Navigate multiple systems and applications to address complex technical challenges.
  • Assist customers in resolving technical issues while ensuring a positive experience.
  • Effectively troubleshoot online banking concerns.
  • Understand and refer bank products to enhance customer service.
  • Maintain regular attendance to fulfill in-person customer interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with security protocols and confidentiality standards.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

  • Six months to one year of relevant customer service experience.
  • Prior banking experience or familiarity with banking terminology is preferred.
  • Knowledge of bank products and services is advantageous.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exemplary courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are vital.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in operating multi-line phone systems and various technology platforms.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

Work Environment:

The role is performed in a climate-controlled office setting with moderate noise levels.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must be able to perform essential functions, including sitting for extended periods, using hands for repetitive tasks, and occasionally standing or walking. Regular attendance and the ability to operate standard office equipment are necessary.
