Job Summary

At Earl Enterprises, we are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team at Buca di Beppo. As a Prep Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality food we serve to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare all menu items to specification, adhering to company recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe line area, adhering to all sanitation and safety policies.
  • Estimate expected food consumption, requisition or purchase supplies, or procure food from storage.
  • Set up Line according to kitchen guidelines and par sheets.
  • Pre-cut ingredients to reduce preparation time for dishes.
  • Check kitchen equipment to ensure it is operational.
  • Stock stations to par levels.
  • Participate in Line Checks to ensure quality products are served.
  • Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-ins, and all storage areas.
  • Wash hands frequently and use kitchen utensils, knives, and equipment safely and responsibly.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
  • Ability to use all sensory capabilities such as vision, hearing, tasting, smelling, touching, and speaking.
