Transplant Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Transplant Coordinator to join our team at Seattle Children's. As a key member of our Health Care Team, you will play a vital role in providing safe, family-centered patient care to our pediatric patients undergoing solid organ transplantation.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a collaborative manner with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
- Coordinate clinical aspects of solid organ transplant patient care, from evaluation to post-transplant care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Nurse Technicians, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Medical Assistants, as defined by Washington State Nursing Commission's applicable WAC.
- Assist in meeting Seattle Children's strategic goals by incorporating initiatives to support the strategic plans into daily work.
- Participate in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and other quality improvement initiatives.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- Current Washington State RN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, or equivalent.
- Previous acute and/or ambulatory solid organ transplant experience preferred.
