Transplant Coordinator RN

Providence St. Joseph Health is seeking a highly skilled Transplant Coordinator RN to join our team at Swedish First Hill. As a key member of our transplant program, you will play a critical role in coordinating the clinical aspects of organ transplantation, ensuring seamless care for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate clinical aspects of organ transplantation, including evaluation, work-up, and pre-transplant and/or post-transplant medical and surgical care of potential recipients.
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, dialysis centers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both written and computerized.
- Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage, providing support and guidance to patients and families as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Washington Registered Nurse License.
- Experience with transplant database management.
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing, Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator certification.
