Transplant Coordinator RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Transplant Coordinator to join our team at Swedish First Hill. As a key member of our transplant program, you will play a vital role in coordinating the clinical aspects of organ transplantation, ensuring seamless care for our patients.
Responsibilities- Coordinate clinical aspects of organ transplantation, including evaluation, work-up, and pre-transplant and/or post-transplant medical and surgical care of potential recipients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians and dialysis centers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in the development of the transplant program and contribute to educational, administrative, and technical tasks related to clinical transplantation.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care throughout their transplant journey.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- Experience with or willingness to master the use of the transplant database.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Nursing and certification as a Clinical Transplant Coordinator.
