We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Field Department at the Boy Scouts of America - Orange County Council. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Director of Field Service and field executives, ensuring the smooth operation of our field operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, files, and databases.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events.
- Develop and implement administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Serve as a liaison between the Field Department and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Experience working in a non-profit or youth-serving organization.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
