Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Support Specialist II to join our team at Dayforce. This role will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employee files and records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all staff members and external contacts, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Reconcile departmental invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare meeting minutes for the Human Resources Board Committee and ensure timely distribution.
  • Assist with various projects and responsibilities, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform general correspondence and administrative tasks within the department.
  • Obtain reference verifications for prospective employees and maintain confidentiality.
  • Order supplies and materials for the department, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, adhering to all Agency Policy and Procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent with prior administrative experience.
  • Valid NYS driver's license with a safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
