Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian II to join our team at the HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION. As a key member of our nutrition services team, you will be responsible for providing complex nutrition services to patients, including training staff and family members, assessing nutritional status, and developing individualized therapeutic menus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training to staff and family members on nutrition-related topics
  • Assess nutritional status of patients using laboratory and anthropometric data
  • Develop and implement individualized therapeutic menus modified for one or more nutrients and textures
  • Participate in the patient's recovery team and project teams
  • Prepare reports and provide quality assessment monitoring of menu and nutrition services activities
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to others as needed
  • Monitor and evaluate programs and services, investigating complaints and deficiencies
  • Provide referrals and consultations on nutrition, train dietetic interns as needed, and assist with developing policies and procedures
