Key Responsibilities:- Manage the company's recruitment efforts, ensuring a pipeline of qualified candidates for open positions.
- Develop and implement effective performance management systems, including performance reviews and pay increases.
- Lead the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services.
- Manage the processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
- Schedule regular meetings with management to discuss HR-related matters and provide updates on HR initiatives.
- Provide policy and procedures training to managers and staff, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and obligations.
- Address employee grievances, counsel employees and supervisors, and provide corrective action plans when needed.
- Lead the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and effective transition for new employees.
- Identify areas for improvement in internal HR procedures and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review and update the company handbook, job descriptions, and classifications as needed.
- Create a positive and energizing work environment that aligns with the company's business fundamentals.
- Participate in the assessment of the company's benefits plan and serve as a resource for employees with benefits-related questions.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 6-8+ years of experience in human resources management, with a proven track record of success.
- Understanding of federal and state HR laws, including knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR policies and procedures, with the ability to develop and implement effective HR systems.
- Experience leading people and achieving results through others, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience with payroll and HR administration software a plus.
