**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Financial Operations to oversee the nationwide grant compliance and reporting process for 40 school programs in 5 states. This role will also be responsible for financial budgeting, forecasting, and planning for grants and revenue. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and manage a grants administration and finance team of 3.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets for grants and revenue
  • Oversee grant compliance and reporting processes for 40 school programs in 5 states
  • Manage a grants administration and finance team of 3
  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and planning
  • Proven experience in public school grants management and compliance
  • Specific experience working with CA State restricted grant programs
  • Staff management experience for at least 2+ people
