Job Title:
Piping Project Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Piping Project Coordinator to join our team. This role involves preparing essential design and coordination drawings that align with project specifications and plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare essential design and coordination drawings, including:
- Shop drawings and detailed schematics.
- Coordination drawings.
- Prefabrication layouts.
- As-built documentation.
- Interpret and comprehend contract drawings, schedules, and specifications.

Collaborate closely with Project Managers and relevant personnel regarding contract modifications, equipment procurement, RFIs, change orders, and more.


Additional Responsibilities:


Engage actively with Job Supervisors, Foremen, and Project Managers to provide insights and assist in resolving design-related challenges.

Possess a solid understanding of the construction process.
Collaborate with the Prefabrication Department in the fabrication of field-bound work.
Participate in coordination meetings with various trades as a company representative.
Navigate folder structures to locate and retrieve necessary information from job folders.
Understand file naming conventions to ensure accurate sending, receiving, and placement of files in appropriate locations.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the plumbing and/or HVAC piping sector.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting design and coordination drawings within the plumbing and/or HVAC industry using AutoCAD MEP, Revit & Navisworks.
