Audio Visual Project Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
A Project Manager (PM) plays a crucial role in overseeing the scope, timeline, budget, quality, and client satisfaction of projects throughout their lifecycle, from initiation to closure.

The PM is tasked with managing and executing project management functions across all Workplace initiatives, budgets, and scopes.

Daily Duties Include:
- Facilitating project communications
- Scheduling and creating task lists for technicians
- Managing deliverables from engineering, CAD, and programming
- Ensuring project completion on time and within budget while achieving high customer satisfaction
- Continuously enhancing established processes at Diversified
- Coordinating and communicating effectively
- Providing clear leadership and ownership of projects
- Ensuring timely and accurate project completion
- Supporting team members as necessary
- Maintaining open communication with stakeholders
- Resolving conflicts as they arise
- Designing, planning, and coordinating work teams for Workplace installation projects
- Taking ownership of individual projects and assignments
- Developing and sharing project updates as required
- Monitoring labor, equipment, and materials budgets
- Offering technical and administrative support to project team members
- Conducting field verification of potential work sites
- Coordinating all drawings and documentation among internal and external stakeholders
- Engaging contractors and other trades when necessary
- Monitoring project status, including costs, timelines, and staffing
- Ensuring quality and promoting continuous improvement
- Coordinating training and project turnover to clients.

Qualifications:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is required, or equivalent experience
- A PMP certification from the Project Management Institute is preferred
- Other relevant certifications may be required or preferred.

Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a project manager is required
- 5+ years of experience overseeing long-term projects is preferred
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
- Familiarity with audio/video systems installations
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical projects.

Preferred Attributes:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Supervisory and interpersonal skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
