The Building People, LLC is seeking a Senior Metering Systems Engineer to become an integral part of our connected infrastructure division. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive site evaluations and assessments at various client locations to analyze energy systems and identify utility meter placements. Your collaboration with project team members will be essential as you review facility layouts and provide informed recommendations for meter upgrades and maintenance.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in managing critical building systems
  • Hands-on experience with site evaluations and assessments
  • Expertise in energy infrastructure analysis
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Capability to secure a basic security clearance
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience conducting building energy assessments
  • Familiarity with sustainability compliance regulations
  • Background in various project types
  • Experience working with government entities
  • Competence in organizing technical discussions
  • Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving abilities

Required Education

  • High School Diploma

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
