Job Summary:

The Boston North/West Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of commercial carpet and other sales-related activities within the assigned geographical territory. This role requires establishing relationships with key specifiers, including architects, designers, and commercial flooring contractors, to identify sales opportunities through new construction and refurbishing of facilities, offices, and other projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities through strategic account development and relationship-building with key specifiers.
  • Provide sales and marketing services in the marketplace, including sales calls, supply of marketing materials, and support.
  • Maintain status and service on job bids and current specifications to secure projects.
  • Establish key relationships and networking opportunities through customer service activities and participation in trade and community organizations.
  • Update customer data daily into the Quest-CRM system.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years of experience in outside sales, with evidence of sustained effectiveness and success.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings, and occasional overnight travel.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Lifting of architect folders and carpet samples, with occasional weights up to 25 lbs.
