Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Executive Officer to lead our Surgical Hospital in Fresno, California. As the CEO, you will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of the hospital's operating functions, processes, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the daily operation of the facility, ensuring efficient provision of surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and all departments of the facility, fostering positive work relationships and promoting effective communication.
  • Develop and implement a sales/marketing plan, lead the facility's sales team, and identify new services defined as appropriate for ambulatory surgery centers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies, negotiate and control external contracts, and establish pricing for procedures based on cost analysis and local market standards.
  • Manage exempt and non-exempt employees, review employee performance, and approve disciplinary action and/or discharge of employees.
  • Develop and implement a continuous quality improvement program, administer the infection control program, and identify and correct quality care issues.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director in the review and revision of the Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations, and promote positive relationships between employees and practitioners.
  • Ensure the facility is clean, neat, professional, well-maintained, and conveys a feeling of confidence to patients, their families, and physician customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum ten to fifteen years of progressive experience in facility or healthcare management, culminating in successfully leading a complex entity in a culturally diverse, competitive urban environment.
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written, and ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $165,000-$275,000, with potential for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-25% depending on role level. Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
