Job Title: Chief Accounting Officer

Granville Homes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accounting Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our accounting department and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the accounting team and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of financial tasks and projects.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop and implement financial planning and analysis activities, reports, and tools.
  • Ensure accurate and timely distributions and investor K-1s preparation.
  • Oversee the month-end close process and reconciliation for any possible shrinkage.
  • Manage cash management function and related credit card platforms.
Requirements:
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, MBA is a plus.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in Accounting.
  • Experience with team building and departmental or organization turnarounds.
  • Experience with ERP implementations.
  • Monitor accounting systems and data to ensure efficient and effective operations that facilitate accurate reliable reporting.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with an ability to facilitate understanding.
