About the Role

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is a key member of our healthcare team at MultiCare Health System, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to help diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process patient specimens for testing
  • Determine the suitability of specimens for testing and reject any that are not suitable
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure accurate test results
  • Analyze and interpret test results to help diagnose and treat patients

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
  • Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or registry eligibility
  • Minimum one year of previous laboratory experience preferred
