Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Job Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including blood draws, urinalysis, and other clinical laboratory tests. You will work closely with our laboratory team to ensure that all tests are performed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including blood draws and urinalysis
  • Process and analyze laboratory specimens
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory test results
  • Collaborate with laboratory team members to ensure efficient and accurate testing
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field
  • Certification or registry eligible for Medical Technologist, MLS (ASCP), or MT (ASCP)
  • Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) certification or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible (if duties will include phlebotomy)
  • SM (ASCP), RM (NRM) for Microbiology only
  • SC, SM (ASCP), MS in Clinical Chemistry or molecular diagnostics experience preferred for Immunology only
