About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personnel Management Specialist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of the academic department, you will be responsible for coordinating personnel activities, including recruitment, placement, and termination of employees. Your duties will involve advising departmental management on various HR-related matters, such as pay issues, affirmative action requirements, classification issues, performance appraisal, employee relations, and employee training and development.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with departmental management, faculty, and staff. You will also need to maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of experience in human resources or a related field. We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $125,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
