Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop polyurethane and epoxy formulations to meet specific performance requirements, collaborating with sales, manufacturing, and quality control teams.
  • Conduct research and testing of new raw materials to enhance existing products, leveraging expertise in polyurethane and epoxy chemistry to troubleshoot formulation issues.
  • Develop and implement test methods for special applications, ensuring the physical and mechanical properties of our products meet the highest standards.
  • Prepare and analyze lab reports, as well as other necessary documentation, to support product development and quality control efforts.
  • Provide technical support for customer complaints, scale-up, production, sales, and engineering teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare customer samples and support the R&D and QC teams in their efforts to drive innovation and quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the R&D team.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of polyurethane and epoxy chemistry, as well as plastics and polymers.
  • Experience with mechanical and physical testing, dispersion, and 2K dosing processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in research and development of polyurethane and/or epoxy formulations.
Work Environment
  • Chemical development laboratory environment, with potential exposure to chemicals.
