Staff Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Scientist to join our team at Performance Environmental Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting industrial hygiene monitoring and assessments, generating reports, and providing site-specific training related to federal, state, and local regulations.

• Conduct Industrial Hygiene monitoring and assessments for chemicals and noise
• Generate reports and formulate recommendations
• Develop written programs and provide site-specific training
• Work from ladders or scaffolds and wear PPE
• Conduct Indoor Air Quality investigations for industrial and non-industrial buildings
• Hold one or more of the following certifications: NIOSH 582, Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Contractor Supervisor, Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor, Certified Microbial Consultant

• 2+ years of experience in industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, and lead consulting/testing
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to travel periodically for projects
