Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiovascular ICU, you will be responsible for overseeing patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your key responsibilities will include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Prioritize patient and family needs, creating and implementing care plans that meet their unique requirements
  • Adjust care plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes and improve patient satisfaction
  • Build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and therapeutic environment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and technologies to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
  • Minimum one year of recent, full-time bedside Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU experience (preferably two years)
  • Current and valid nursing license
  • BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role
