Job Title: Registered Nurse - CVICU

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) at The Baylor Heart Hospital Denton.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse in the CVICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritize patient needs, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Prioritize patient and family needs, and delegate tasks to ensure efficient care delivery
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, and make adjustments as needed
  • Provide education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote health and wellness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
  • Minimum one year of recent, full-time bedside experience in Cardiovascular ICU or CVICU
  • Current and valid nursing license
  • BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role
