About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular ICU team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Prioritize patient and family needs, creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters trust and open communication.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and colleagues to promote health literacy and empower informed decision-making.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
  • Minimum one year of recent, full-time bedside Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU experience (preferably two years).
  • Current and valid nursing license.
  • BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
