Position Overview
The Property Management Associate plays a crucial role in the seamless operation of our residential properties, focusing on delivering outstanding tenant experiences while optimizing occupancy levels and revenue through effective leasing strategies.

This diverse role includes duties related to leasing, tenant engagement, and property administration.


Key Responsibilities
Leasing:
- Welcome and engage potential residents, offering comprehensive property tours.
- Address inquiries from prospective tenants, providing detailed information on available units, lease conditions, and amenities.
- Manage lease applications, including conducting credit and background evaluations.
- Draft and review lease agreements with prospective tenants, ensuring clarity and compliance.
- Collect and process rental payments and security deposits.
- Address resident concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, move-in/move-out dates, and tenant communications.
- Follow up with potential residents to facilitate the leasing process and enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Stay informed about market trends and competing properties to effectively promote our offerings.
- Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to uphold high standards of property upkeep and visual appeal.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
Assistant Property Management:
- Prepare memos and communicate with residents regarding lease matters and maintenance scheduling.
- Support Accounts Receivable functions, including processing late fees and managing delinquent accounts.
- Assist Property Managers with administrative tasks.
- Aid in the processing of lease renewals.
Team Leadership:
- Assist the Property Manager in supervising on-site staff, including maintenance, front desk, and leasing professionals.
- Address staff concerns in collaboration with the Property Manager.
- Ensure effective communication within the team to foster a productive work environment.
Work Environment:
- This position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and walking throughout the property.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to follow verbal instructions and perform basic math.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Preferred experience with property management software.
